Goa, known for its beaches, is one of the tiny states lying on the west coast of India. It is well connected with across Indian states and is 594 Kms (by road) away from Mumbai city. Goa has numerous beaches that attract large number of crowds. A former Portuguese colony, Goa also boasts of beautiful architecture from the colonial era with many churches and old-style bungalows. Goa has one of the best night life in the country with trendy bars, beach shacks, elegant cafes and many clubs and discotheques. Goa is pocket friend for young crowed due to lower alcohol prices.

Calangute Beach :

Calangute Beach is the longest beach in North Goa, stretching from Candolim to Baga. This Beach is situated about 15km from the capital city of Panaji. Due to its sheer size and popularity, it is a hub for tourists and backpackers from all over the world. This beach offers cool breeze and awe-stunning sunsets which will leave the tourist mesmerized. Calangute Beach is one of the busiest and most commercial beaches of Goa, Calangute is swarming with eating joints, shacks and clubs serving cocktails, beer and seafood. It offers water sports activities like parasailing, water surfing, banana ride and jet-skiing. Nightlife is famous for nightclubs and pubs.

Ashwem Beach :

Ashwem Beach is about 30 km from the capital city of Panaji.It lies in the Pernem taluk of North Goa. It takes about 1 hour to travel from Panjim to Ashwem Beach by road. The tourist season in Goa start from October to March & December to February, when the maximum number of visitors flock to the beaches to enjoy the pleasant, sunny weather and calm seas, perfect for swimming and other water activities.

Palolem Beach :

Paloem Beach located on south Goa, it has scenic rocks and islands off its shores. Beach place for all kind of food. Watersports activity can be enjoyed at its Best on this beach. It is less crowded compare to other beaches but little bit pricy compare to other beaches. One can enjoy all kind of sports activity.

Vagator Beach :

Vagator Beach is one of the most promising attraction in Goa. Forms in crescent shape, this beach covered with coconut trees and cracked rocks. Beach is best known for sunburn festival.

This church declared world heritage site by UNESCO. This is one of the finest historic church. Church has tomb and remains of St. Francis Xavier, surprisingly the remains of St. Xavier still in good condition after 400 year.

Calangute streets :

Calangute streets known It is known for some of its authentic handicraft items, accessories, clothing, artificial jewelry, and spices. You can find famous cashew fruits and Goan liquor (Feni). Street have few nice café, restaurant and pub. one can have a great shopping experience in crowed street.

Martin’s Corner is called celebrity restaurant is famous for its delicious sea food cooked in Goan spices. Visited often by celebrities this is place one of the must dine place in Goa.
